ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As a Customer Care Representative for the Bradley Purcell, State Farm Insurance Agency, your primary role will be to provide exceptional customer service to our customers. You will be responsible for handling incoming inquiries, resolving customer issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. 

 Your main responsibilities will include:

  1. Answering customer inquiries: You will respond to customer inquiries via phone, text, email, or virtual/video. This may involve providing information about insurance policies, coverage details, claims processes, and billing inquiries.

  2. Resolving customer issues: You will handle customer concerns, and issues in a timely and efficient manner. This may involve investigating problems, escalating complex issues to the appropriate department, and following up to ensure resolution.

  3. Providing policy information: You will assist customers in understanding their insurance policies, explaining coverage options, deductibles, and premiums. You will also provide information on additional products or services that may benefit the customer.

  4. Processing policy changes: You will assist customers with policy changes such as adding or removing coverage, updating personal information, and adjusting deductibles. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential in this role.

  5. Assisting with claims: You will guide customers through the claims process, helping them understand what is covered, documenting the necessary information, and providing updates on claim status.

  6. Promoting customer retention: You will build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction with our services. This may involve following up with customers after policy changes, conducting satisfaction surveys, and offering additional products or services based on their needs.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills: You must possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively assist customers and convey information clearly.

  • Problem-solving abilities: You should be able to analyze customer issues, think critically, and provide appropriate solutions.

  • Attention to detail: Accurate data entry, policy updates, and documentation are crucial aspects of this role.

  • Customer-centric mindset: You should genuinely care about providing outstanding service and have a passion for helping customers.

  • Knowledge of insurance policies: Familiarity with State Farm Insurance policies and procedures is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided.

  • Computer proficiency: Basic computer skills are necessary for navigating customer databases, policy management systems, and other software used in the role.


Overall, as a Customer Care Representative for the Bradley Purcell, State Farm Insurance Agency, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction, promoting customer retention, and upholding the agency's professional yet fun and energetic image.
Compensation: $40,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
